Bring the records you have. We identify what’s missing.
We make protecting your information a priority throughout the CatchUp process. Customer records belong in the private case portal—not ordinary email, social messages or the public chatbot. Access is limited to authorized personnel; authorized staff may handle records during launch.
Case-status messages direct you to your portal without including tax documents or financial details. Security and confidentiality apply to every service, including DIY Records Organization.
This website is a preview. Live customer uploads remain unavailable while payment, secure access and document safeguards are completed and tested. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Learn about private professional advice and representationWhether you’re finally ready to file or a tax notice brought you here, you don’t need to organize every transaction first. Gather the records you have. CatchUp helps reconstruct the missing years and identify the questions that need your answer.
A notice deadline or active levy needs prompt attention from an authorized tax professional. Records Organization helps prepare the records needed for overdue returns; collection and representation services require a separate engagement.
Filing a return alone does not automatically stop collection, release a levy, or extend a notice deadline. Payment arrangements, hardship relief, levy-release requests, and representation depend on your circumstances and require separate attention. State procedures vary.
An active levy or imminent deadline belongs with an authorized EA, CPA, or tax attorney promptly. Records Organization focuses on records; one-on-one professional services are separately scoped.

Planned deliverable: a completed, validated California Form 568 financial/form package within confirmed eligibility and scope. You must enter your full identifiers, review the form and sign before filing; our DIY package uses last-four identifiers and is not ready to file until you complete those steps. CatchUp Secure Records Archive — $99 per account per year. Keep the source documents and completed packages from your purchased 1–4 tax years in your private account for future reference. Includes up to 5 GB total; larger archives require a quote.
Your paid Records Organization downloads are included whether or not you choose storage. Archive access runs for 12 months from completed package delivery, with manual renewal and no automatic charge. You can also add it after delivery. Without archive storage, downloads remain available for 30 days after package delivery. After a paid archive term expires, you have a 30-day export/renewal grace period. We send reminders before expiration; renewal requires your action. Any legally required internal retention is handled separately.
Storage does not include new-year processing, bookkeeping, tax advice or professional preparation. Keep your own backup. Future professional use requires your authorization. This preview does not create a live archive.
CatchUp is a 100% U.S.-based operation, built around our proprietary records-organization technology, with licensed and credentialed tax professionals available through a separate engagement.
Start with DIY records organization. If you need additional expert help, we can use the records and history you have already provided—with your authorization—to reduce repeated explanations and help the professional get up to speed sooner. Begin with a paid 30-minute consultation ($89); additional help is scoped and custom-quoted afterward. Any further work requires your approval and a separate engagement. Timing and tax outcomes depend on your situation and are not guaranteed.
Records Organization remains a self-service experience; authorized staff may handle fulfillment during launch. Tax advice, professional review, preparation, filing and representation are separate services.
Discuss separately quoted professional helpBegin with a paid, private $89 / 30-minute consultation. If additional work is appropriate, we provide a custom quote. IRS representation begins only after we accept the engagement, you approve the quote and terms, and required authorizations are completed. Your assigned professional must be authorized to practice before the IRS. A consultation alone does not include representation.
A consultation or accepted quote does not automatically create attorney-client privilege. Certain confidential tax-advice communications with an enrolled agent or other federally authorized tax practitioner may qualify for limited protection under federal law in noncriminal IRS matters and related federal tax proceedings. It is not blanket protection for uploaded records, bookkeeping or tax-return preparation, and does not apply to criminal tax matters or state proceedings under that federal rule. Other exceptions and waiver rules apply. We cannot guarantee that any particular communication is privileged.
Attorney-client privilege requires a qualifying attorney relationship and communication; it is not established by hiring an enrolled agent. Ask your professional about the applicable protections before sharing sensitive legal concerns. If a tax attorney is needed, discuss an appropriate referral. Do not submit private case details to the chatbot.
30 minutes to discuss your situation and the help you need. The $89 fee is paid upfront before the appointment is confirmed. For an approved custom-quoted engagement of more than $1,250, the full $89 initial paid consultation is credited before you pay your final balance.
Booked separately. Additional individualized help is custom-quoted after the consultation. Preparation, filing, and representation are not included in the consultation.
$89 for 30 minutes, paid upfront before an appointment is confirmed.
Follow the guided intake, upload your records, and answer specific questions about deposits and transactions. Website guidance, FAQs and CatchUp Help answer routine questions from a reviewed library. Service support covers navigation, document requirements, and case status.
Need individualized tax advice or professional judgment? Book a $89 / 30-minute consultation or choose Professional Preparation. Live professional support and unlimited tax consultation are not included in Records Organization.
Email notifications are included for document requests, clarification questions, delays, and delivery. When answers or replacement files are needed, a general alert directs you to sign in and complete a short online form. Financial details stay inside the case portal. SMS security codes and optional case-status texts are planned for launch. Case-status texts require separate opt-in; email remains the standard channel. Email and SMS are transactional/status channels, not unlimited tax consultation.
Authorized staff may access and manually process records during launch. The customer journey is self-service and uses automation, but Records Organization does not include tax-professional review.
This sandbox previews the workflow. The FAQ chatbot works locally; email, payment and customer record submissions remain unconnected.
Answer a few questions. Upload your records together. Clarify only the items that need your answer. We organize the records so you can move forward. Check your scope and price before payment; this preview takes no payment.
This shows completion without revealing a customer’s tax figures. No real case or payment is connected.
All counts are fictional examples. Year-specific fictional amounts appear only after that year’s simulated payment verification.
After full payment for this year, you may add a missing expense or change an expense line total. Every change is labeled Client override; original records stay intact. This is customer-entered information, without professional review or a guarantee of deductibility. Use fictional information in this demo.

Yes, a qualifying individual-owned LLC with no corporate tax election can use the operating-business Schedule C path. We ask about ownership and elections before payment. California generally also requires Form 568. LLC DIY worksheets are in development; filing and professional preparation require separate scope confirmation. An EIN alone does not determine the return type.

No. Upload a batch of source documents. CatchUp identifies document types and periods where possible, keeps same-name files separate, and asks for clarification when something is uncertain. You still confirm that all relevant accounts, income forms, and statement periods have been provided.
A 30-minute consultation costs $89. If you engage CatchUp for an approved custom-quoted service of more than $1,250, we credit the full $89 initial paid consultation toward that service. The credit is applied to your invoice before you pay the final balance. The threshold is the agreed service price before the credit, excluding taxes and pass-through charges. Any consultation credit already used counts toward the $89 total; credits do not stack. Consultation and service scope are confirmed separately.
Yes. Identify gaps during intake. Processing may pause while required documents or clarification answers are missing. Complete records and final answers are needed before the two-business-day target begins.

The customer experience is guided and self-service, with automation where available. During the initial launch, authorized staff may handle data, resolve processing issues, and produce deliverables manually. This does not mean tax-professional review is included.
We email you promptly with a revised estimate and options: a full refund if you do not want to wait, or continued processing at no additional cost until the revised date. A paid priority upgrade may be offered only when actual priority capacity is available and a fee has been agreed. Priority pricing has not yet been set.
No. Record organization or filing does not automatically stop collection, release a levy, or extend a notice deadline. Seek prompt help from an authorized professional for urgent notices. No deductions, refunds, tax liabilities, or IRS/FTB results are guaranteed.
It displays file names, sizes, year labels, and document types in this browser session. It does not send file contents, store client records, accept payment, or connect to tax authorities. Reloading clears the intake preview. Use sample information only.

Optional California LLC form service: $129 per qualifying LLC per tax year, additional to $499/year Records Organization ($628/year combined). The state form package does not include tax payment, filing, representation or professional preparation unless separately engaged.
Optional Secure Records Archive: $99 per account for 12 months from completed package delivery, covering purchased case records up to 5 GB. Paid upfront when selected; manually renewed with no automatic billing. Declining storage does not remove your paid download entitlement. If the underlying service is canceled before package delivery, the unstarted archive fee is refunded. Archive purchase does not include additional processing or professional services. Renewal reminders and export instructions will be provided before expiration; access and deletion timelines will be disclosed before live purchase. Customer archive access and legally required internal record retention are separate.

No guarantee is made about deductions, refunds, tax liability, collection outcomes, or IRS/FTB decisions. Personalized advice requires a separate professional engagement based on the relevant facts.

After that point, the upfront payment is generally nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the exceptions below. If you paid in full, the service fee is generally nonrefundable after substantial processing starts under the same protections. Final reports require verified full payment and customer confirmation. This preview does not authorize any charge.
If we determine that we cannot meet your anticipated completion timeframe, we will contact you promptly and offer a full refund or continued processing at no additional cost with a revised estimated completion date. Paid priority processing may be offered only when available and separately agreed.
If your delivered package contains an error or is missing an agreed deliverable, contact us with the specific issue. We will review your concern and correct errors attributable to CatchUp without an additional charge. Partial or full refunds may be offered where appropriate.
